Concept

Renovation is the art of listening. Before anything was changed in Baan K. Nawit, the existing structure was studied — its proportions, its light, its relationship to the surrounding landscape of Sikhiu. The design response was made with care: removing what no longer served, restoring what deserved to remain, and introducing new elements that honour the character of what was already there. Materials were chosen for their honesty — stone, timber, and plaster that carry the patina of time with quiet dignity. A home renewed, not replaced.
