BAAN K. NAN
Nonthaburi, Thailand·2026
Concept
Sculpting the Void. Where emptiness becomes the soul of architecture. In Baan K. Nan, the objective was not to fill space, but to masterfully orchestrate the equilibrium between space and light. A double-volume void forms the heart of the home — breaking vertical confinement and connecting all levels through a spiral staircase that functions as a sculptural object. The interplay of black steel curves against minimalist white walls and raw concrete creates a visual rhythm that shifts with the hour. The expansive glass facade acts as a portal, drawing the changing quality of natural light deep into the interior — from the clarity of dawn to the warmth of twilight.
